You will also need to submit scanned copies of the following:
1. All academic transcripts
2. One academic reference
3. An English language test score (IELTS/TOEFL etc)
4. Your personal statement (if appropriate)
The Admission Office will then assess your application and reply with a decision within five working days.
International Students
All overseas students coming to study in the UK need a student visa, unless they are a citizen of one of the EU countries or Switzerland. Before applying to Birmingham Graduate School, you should familiarize yourself with the process for making a visa application in your country. You should check that you are eligible to enter the UK for the purpose of studying.
You will need to prove that you have enrolled at a college and that you have made suitable arrangements for financial support and accommodation whilst you are in the UK. We advise you contact the Visa office or visit the links mentioned in this website, to check exactly what other information they will require. If your application for a visa is not successful they will tell you why and you may have the opportunity to appeal against the decision. If you require a refund of your fees, you will need to send us a copy of the refusal letter that the visa office gives you and return the documents that are required by the college.
