Essentials of Strategic Leadership across all business areas

The aim of the module is to introduce the way in which a firm can achieve sustainable competitive advantage and develop the corporation internationally. Participants cover areas including evaluating the factors that need to be considered in analysing a firm’s external environment and identify the internal core competences of a firm. The module will focus on how firms formulate strategy  and identify the nature of corporate strategy.

Setting Organisational Goals
This module distinguishes between the individual and the organization and raises consciousness of the need for both to be directed.
It covers vital areas such as better understanding of organizational goal setting, vision and missions in order to result in achievement of those goals and increased organizational performance.

Applied Strategic Thinking
Applied Strategic Thinking is designed to help managers understand and learn how to think and strategically plan for long term business success. Through an increased understanding of strategic thinking, leaders of the organization will better anticipate and understand changes and unfolding trends that could open up new opportunities to create value for the organization. The workshop will conclude with a personal action and sustainability plan for each participant.

Leading through periods of turbulent times
This covers the concepts of remaining positive in turbulent times. Areas such as remaining respectful & engaged, strengthen relationships/partnerships with clients & key influencers. “Growth” is Good – “Replacement” a Reality, revisiting your strategic plan, conducting Smart reviews of expenses and staffing.

Implementing Change and Growth
This module has been developed for people who need to navigate their organizations through change.
It is for experienced, senior people who know that change presents a challenge and would like to know more about the science and the art of managing company tranformation.
It is designed to facilitate the employee's exploration of the best thinking and approaches. You will take both the latest and the tried and tested ideas, strip them apart and apply them to your own needs. Working on real issues with a peer group of managers, our participants value the opportunity to develop greater personal confidence and credibility as well as share ideas with peers.

Corporate Governance

This addresses the process of accountability and control, both over firms and within them and is intended to reduce the risk to investors and to ensure that the firm provides them with a steady stream of returns over the longer term. This module will discuss the main perspectives and address a variety of contemporary issues which are at the centre of discussion on corporate governance. Some of the discussion will raise issues which are at the macro level.

Introduction to Lean and Six Sigma

This module has been designed in order to give executives the introduction to the methodology and best practices of Lean and Six Sigma.
The areas covers will be: Improving the quality of process output by identifying and removing the causes of defects and minimizing variability. The three P’s – People, Process, Product.
