Welcome to our ACCA Programmes

Initially the three knowledge level papers will be offered:

Paper F1    Accountant in Business
Paper F2    Management Accounting
Paper F3    Financial Accounting

Building on BGS expertise in business and teaching of masters degrees, the new ACCA programme will provide a high level of tuition and support, to maximise the students’ success rate.

This ACCA programme will run for 12 weeks and will provide:

•    Expert tutors, experienced in teaching ACCA subjects over many years
•    Study manuals and revision kits for each paper
•    A carefully-planned timetable of tuition sessions and tutor-guided workshops
•    Access to BGS library and computing facilities, and private study areas
•    A BGS student toolkit, including paper, pens, folder, calculator and memory stick
•    Regular exam-focussed practice throughout the programme
•    Email access to tutors outside of scheduled class times

During the final week of the programme, students will sit a computer-based exam (CBE) for each paper, at a local Birmingham centre

On successful completion of the exams, students will proceed to undertake the on-line ‘Foundations in Professionalism’ module, which is available on the ACCA website. They will then be entitled to the award of Diploma in Accounting and Business.

From September 2011 onwards, successful students of the knowledge level papers F1,F2 and F3, will be able to progress their ACCA studies with BGS, as new programmes will be offered for:

•    Skills level papers F4 to F9
•    Essential professional papers P1 to P3
•    Optional professional papers P4 to P7
